Returning to Ukraine

As I begin packing for a return trip to Ukraine, I find I’m looking forward to the many things I love about the country.
I look forward to the people of Ukraine. I am looking forward to visiting many friends, some who have become like extended family. While trying to find enough hours in the few days I will actually be in country to visit all I want to see is proving difficult, yet I can hardly wait.
I look forward to seeing the new friends I’ve recently met and future friends I’m sure to meet. Already a new friend, Heather Harris from Radooga (an organization who provides summer camps for the orphaned in Ukraine) I met earlier this year at the Christian Alliance for Orphans SUMMIT (conference) has proven to be thoughtful and a resource for my in-country travel. Many new friends are sure to be made as I look forward to volunteering with the Universal Aid for Children-Ukraine (the great organization that helped us care for “Svetlana”) for Peace Day festivities, meeting with potential partner organizations regarding my new non-profit and encouraging those I meet involved in orphan care in Odessa and Kiev.
I look forward to seeing how God will move during this visit. I have often witnessed God in action during my travels. I have read of His moving in Ukraine during their current crisis. I have experienced His moving during my own time of living in Ukraine. This trip is sure to bring new examples of God’s love and sovereignty.
Thank you for your support through our recent fundraiser. Be sure to follow me on my Author Facebook Page at to follow my travels and those I meet in Ukraine. What a privilege to be able to share God’s love. What a privilege to serve. I covet your prayers for my family waiting anxiously for my return, for my time in Ukraine serving orphans and for my personal safety as I travel. Thank you, in advance, for your prayerful support.
